Sherry has worked in the field of school psychology, and she is professionally licensed in Texas, where she has worked for over 20 years to support the emotional and behavioral needs of those she has been assigned to serve within her local community.

Sherry keeps her certifications up to date, and engages in many hours of continuing education and latest research reviews to continually update her skills and knowledge. Her coaching is highly individualized, and she incorporates evidence based strategies in the fields of positive psychology, counseling and coaching, biological bases of emotions and behavior, child and adolescent development, family systems studies, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior strategies, functional behavioral analysis, and acceptance and commitment strategies in her consultations and courses. .

Additionally, Sherry ministers to women and girls to encourage these practices: seeking and staying close to God, sharing the teachings and message of Jesus, and

participating in spiritual formation practices in ways that are simple, effective, and fun!

Sherry earned a Bachelors in Psychology from Baylor University. She has a specialist level, advanced master's in School Psychology from UHCL, including additional advanced coursework and practice in family psychology and therapy. She is licensed in Texas and is also a Certified Mental Health Coach. Sherry has also completed a master's level certificate in Biblical Language and Biblical Backgrounds through New Orleans Seminary (NOBTS).
